Tullyfin is a one-woman performance piece written and performed by award-winning actor Leah Egan.
Rooted in Celtic mythology and folklore, the script follows Ali and her mother Evelyn as they return home to Evelyn’s birthplace; the fictional island of Tullyfin. Rooted in a dynamically-performed fictional narrative, the show is a thematic exploration of island life, familial lines, secrets and the complexities of biological inheritance and adoption. A coming-of-age story suitable for a general audience rooted in matriarchal identity, Irish family ties and the impact tradition has on our experience and environment.
